So in town there's a 2015 Kia Optima for $9,259 USD, when I test drove it, it was 10,744 dollars, it has 79,344 miles, and is in good shape, with no prior accidents.

Is this something I should go for? Or should I wait for something else, can anyone recommend the Kia Optima?

If that's the car you're after I'd say it's a little overpriced, you can find that car here in Canada for just under $9000 cad with comparable kilometres

If I was you, I would shop around a little bit and see if you find something similar or a better deal.
That's a little overpriced in my opinion

There is also differences in taxes, production costs and possibly import costs if applicable.
