Lately work has been kicking my ass. Idk what it is but I work at a circle k and it's just a gas station I know. But the people there are sometimes so mean. I hate it only for that reason. But you got to just smile and nod because the "customer is always right."
Do you like the job you have now? And is it somewhere you plan to stay long term or short term? |

The best quote to know is this "You go to work to make money not friends". I don't like my job and I guarantee nobody does, sure you might find your dream job. But at the same time your still working not enjoying yourself like the weekend. Been at mine for 5 years started at age 19 now im 24. Just focus on the better things in life, the people you go home to at night, and if you have nobody you have a animal or hell me.

dealing with different types of people is always going to be a hassle. I work as a waiter for a restaurant and i too hate how some people treat me and sometimes even other people.
some people refuse to eat in the same room as families because of their children screaming/crying and expect US to do something about it. other people will complain about the noise coming from the TV when a sport game is on and everyone in the room is watching literally the same thing and are genuinely happy/unbothered by the volume and what they are seeing. understandably older people are very sensitive to noise, but why even go to a restaurant at that point? Either they publicly and rudely demand either i change the channel or lower the volume. Literally no one is going to be satisfied in customer service when it comes to you or the customer. The customer isn't always right either. I always go to tables with their food and they mention to their friend/familiy member that they forgot what they ordered BEFORE SAYING THEY DIDNT ORDER THIS. Sometimes they forget to the point where another relative eats another persons plate that they didnt even order and proceed to tell me that they are still missing portions of their food that they ordered and they dont want to pay for what they didnt get. I could go on tbh. |
