I need to buy a SATA power cable to connect my hard drive to a power supply of course however when I look on amazon I can only see extensions, can someone please link me one? I don't want to waste money buying that wrong thing, thanks.

Generally, all PSU's come with Sata power connectors. If you're not sure, you can always check the side of the box if you have it already or on the manufactures website and it'll normally say if it's included.

If not, you'd need to make your own. You can do this by using a Molex connector from the power supply and use that as your source of power. Something like This would do just fine.
