Hey, I input a new motherboard ASUS Prime X570-P
I tried to boot up with: Ryzen 5 3600 Corsair Vengeance (2x8gb) 3200mhz MSI Ventus OC 2070 Super Corsair Tx650 PSU With the 3600 in, I get 0 display. Nothing boots. I put the 2600 back in and the PC boots no problem. I've tried to boot with 1 RAM stick in various slots, I've checked all the cables and I even have my RAM running fine at 3200mhz on the D.O.C.P profile. The motherboard arrive Ryzen 3000 ready. I did try boot the CPU on my old mobo which was a B350-Plus and it booted up and signed in but then crashed and I could never get back in until I switched back to the 2600. Assumed my mobo wasn't powerful enough (it did have the latest BIOS). Could this be a CPU issue? I have warranty and extra insurance incase something like this happened. |

The Ryzen 3600 does not have integrated onboard graphics, you will need to use a GPU to output video. |

This could be a very rare case of a DOA CPU since you said that your 2600 works fine. I would use the 2600 and update the bios on the X570-P just to be sure though.

Update: Got further than before after BIOS update. I could boot into BIOS but after exiting and trying to boot Windows, I get BSOD. I can't think of anything other than a faulty CPU.
Same thing happenned on my B350-Plus Mobo. |
