Okay I'm going to start by saying I have some major issues when it comes to playing call of duty. Always have. I'm saying these are manageable circumstances but I'd like some advice.

I've always had anger issues especially when it comes to call of duty, it all started around when MW2 came out, now when I say anger issues I'm not saying a simple punch into the wall I go through it. I've made 5ft holes gone though 4 doors. But today strikes my final nerve where I've decided to try get some help. I've said disgusting things to relatives (like to hurtful) not going into details but I'll leave that to your imagination.

I've come to a conclusion. I can either all together stop playing it & focus on games I enjoy without being angry. Or quit gaming all together, what's your opinions?

Don't be simpleton saying the obvious.

Love you my fellows

I am the same way. I am not saying I am less or worse than the anger issues you deal with, but I can relate. Mine started back in 2007 when I grinded Halo 3 a crap ton.

When you know something triggers you its best to plan ahead and react accordingly before the situation gets worse.

For me, I can get pissed off at the slightest thing someone says to me. To avoid further frustration I like to take time away from said individual and get a good head space again. If you know Call Of Duty makes you angry you have to be aware of why it does that to you.

Is it things people say to you?

Is from campers?

Lag?

If it is something as simple as above, there is a solution to it. There is to everything really.

Find what stems from the anger you get when playing. If you feel yourself starting to get on edge, its probably best to tell yourself "Alright I dont want to get this angry, Its time to step away" You will be surprised with yourself and actually keep a fire from getting started. Good luck man!

I understand where your rage comes from. Yelling/Raging at call of duty is something I believe that is all in us. Although it stops when I am off the game, some people just take into real life if that makes sense. I would suggest trying to play the game, but in a relaxed position and not giving it your all. I know that in MW, you seriously have to try your ass off in order to actually be decent. I would suggest playing a different game as well, unless you just want to play call of duty. If you interested in the game, keep playing, but you need to learn to not take the game that serious. I still yell and talk trash in lobbies, but it just for the fun because I like doing that stuff.

Although I have never smashed a whole in my wall, at least half a dozen controllers got broken back in the day. I wish you the best of luck in your COD anger management and please keep us posted on how your doing because I would love to help

Edit: I talk trash for my own amusement, not because I am a hate monger. Also, add me, we should play

Going back to older COD's is also a good way to realize that the game isn't that important. You won't care as much.

Stop stressing yourself out and playing games you're not enjoying.

You seem like you need something single player and grindy.

Have you tried Runescape or WoW?
WoW Classic is out now and so is Olschool Runescape which are both older, loved versions of the game.

Give it a shot? Idk

One good thing is you actually understand that you have an issue most people just think there problems are normal or inevitable. I can relate to this post especially since I'm super competitive and hates to lose my games that pisses me off are PUBG and Rainbow 6. My fix was playin games that are competitive but goofy at the same time for example Rocket League, Cuisine Royale and DayZ. Theses 3 games for me take the edge right off. Goofy might now be a good word to describe theses but to me that's how I view them. I think this is a good direction to find games that fill that competitive void but is also something that you enjoy and don't care to lose in. Hope this helps!
