On March 4, 2000, the PlayStation 2 launched in Japan. It was released in the US, Europe and the rest of the world later in the year. It would go on to become the highest-selling console of all time.

I will always remember falling in love with Tony Hawks Underground and going on to spend hundreds of hours on THUG, THUG 2, and American Wasteland. I was also a huge fan of Destroy All Humans!, the Ratchet and Clank games, as well as Jak and Daxter. I'm not the biggest Sony/Playstation anymore, despite their success and great lineup of games, I will see myself being a PC/Xbox fan for life, but the Playstation 2 was the console that really changed gaming for me and millions of other gamers. This was the first console I had that I would play for hours on end, grinding games all night long, I think it's where my passion and love for gaming truly came from. Happy 20th, PS2! |

| So many great memories on the PS2. Spent countless hours playing games like Tony Hawk, Need For Speed, Test Drive, GTA, ATV Offroad Fury, Flat Out and so much more! I still go back time to time to play them. |

| I remember the original PlayStation playing tony hawk and ps2 was the first console I play call of duty on. Then from there I switched to Xbox and got the 360 when it first came out. |

My first gaming console was PS2, I remember those days. When I use to play games whole.
Even I also had PSP and I missed it as well. That's why I still play [Minimum post requirement for links] on my android device. My first PS2 games was God of War and then GTA San Andreas. Love those days. |
