Cooking as at least in America I don't know, things aren't done with what I was used to for take away. Anything pasta is overcooked to all living shit no matter where you go. Most times I've ordered out, potatoes/fries are just limp and have no bite to them and the biggest thing, burgers/beef they won't cook rare, they'll say medium is as low as they can go.

Pizza though, I just order because I just can't make a proper tasting pizza always something off with it.

I also eat out more often than cook but sometimes it's great to have fresh and you can control the calories in meals.

I'd have a take out any day, cooking just takes too long, and it's even more annoying to cook when your starving.

That totally depends on the circumstances but in general I'd rather cook my own meals you get to control the portions better and flavor profiles much better
