Hi All
So just like majority of you, I am bored out of my mind during lockdown and forever trying to keep myself entertained. So thought Id start a topic that we could all get involved in and see other peoples answers. The topic is 'If you could turn back time to any point of your life, what would you change and why?'.
For me, I would turn back the clocks back to my teenage years, the moments that i didnt realise would be the most important years of my life. I would shake myself and tell me to wake up and treat my momma better. I would tell myself to get away from the bad crowd I am hanging around with and find new friends that actually inspire me and motivate me to move forward. Id give myself a kick up the behind and knuckle down at school. Although i went on to become an A* Student at College and get a 1st Class Bachelors degree at uni.. I still wish i worked harder in school. Rather than skipping the entire year 9 to play Modern Warfare 2. Little did i know, me bunking off school would land my mom with a £1000 fine . So yeah, I would go back and make sure i wasnt such a little brat. When would you turn back the clock? what would you change? And why?
Look forward to hearing from you all. - Said |

I would turn the clocks back to when I was 13/14, I started getting mixed up with the wrong people at the time I thought were friends. Turns out none of them were mates after me getting locked up for 2 and half years over something 2of them done. I took the blame for them so I wouldn't have to rat them out. I get out and not 1of them came to hang out or even say hello, not even a thank you! So yeah I would turn back time and never meet these people ever again. |

I was in a similar boat with my mates.. but never had to serve time. You think they have your back until you get into a senario where you need them, and theyre no where to be seen. |

Yeah mate they would stab you in the back as quick as they look at you. Definitely not worth it. I have no changed my life around big time for the better tho! I stay out of trouble no matter what, and literally only have 2 friends that I can say I would trust no matter what.. Your better off having no friends than 10friends that would stab you in the back |

Im the same now, like i can losr 3 fingers and still count my friends on one hand. Better having a handful of true mates than hundereds of snakes. |

If I could go back to when I was about 10 n knew the stuff I knew now I would do everything differently, but when gets older u realize things are not the same as you through so I would go back n change the things I never did experience the things a person should wanna do but something stops u from doing so |

This is deep very deep but I swear on my mothers this is the truth
I think it was 2015 or even 2014 I had a car accident I was passenger. Long story short it was a RTA (road traffic accident) I broken my neck (C7 fracture) damaged my lungs and made them bleed, broke my collar bone and few ribs Recovery looked very slim I was on deaths door literally, years went on my lung collapsed 4 times within 2 years due to the damage then the 5th time I was in Nottingham county hospital U.K. where I had a operation which was 99% to never collapse again, but it did... It's been 5 years now and the reason i would go back (THIS IS LITERALLY STORY TIME I APOLGISE) it was a funeral, and at the wake it was sad I was very drunk and got into a car, a sober friends car who wasn't drinking, it literally was an accident but I'd of never step foot into that car as that wasn't even the car I was meant to be in, but also it was luckily you wanna know why? It was a land rover defender off road and had the middle seat taken out, somebody moved me from the middle (duno why I even sat there) onto the seat.... when we crashed car flipped 6 times I believe and the vehcial literally crushed in the middle. I would of been crushed, it's like I got lucky without even knowing it with the circumstances Can I turn back time twice? Sorry but for anybody that's interested in the actual story anyway I got compensation and obviously it was quite good bcos I was hurt badly, I got £34,000. And I was a dumb 18 year old who went from -£25 in his bank to £32k like within weeks, literally. I felt like a millionaire... I went from job centre to rich, I gave my family money and some close friends, and wasted a lot. I got very very addicted to roulette. That's all I'm saying, I wish I could rewind it All back not because I just lost most the money Because I'm not healthy, at all... I never sleep well because it's traumatised me, I have to hve yearly heart check ups as it developed a heart condition called wolf Parkinson's, my lung which collapsed 5 times always plays up like hurts And when I gets a cold or flu because it's weak boy, my lung can't hack it, I get headaches from banging my head how ever many times. Yeah sorry about the story guys but I hope for some it's a good read End of the day I'm truly thankful I'm still alive, I literally dodged death |
