Current Specs:
CPU - Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.40GHz RAM - 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Motherboard - Gigabyte B85-HD3 GPU - XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX 8GB SSD - Crucial 500GB HDD - 1TB Western Digital Drive PSU - Corsair CX750M, Model No. - 75-002019 Budget - £300-400, flexible up to £500 depending on advice but would ideally like to stay within this budget. Overall Goal: I'd like a faster more powerful machine that's able to handle more recent games, general workload and multi tasking across 2 monitors. I've noticed my CPU struggles with a few applications open and reaches 100% or close to whilst running a game and discord, with a web cam on occasionally, have to turn off due to affecting my game. The items i would like to upgrade is the CPU, Motherboard, Ram to DDR4, adding another hard drive and potentially a new psu depending if it's needed or if i can get by with my current one and maybe a new case. I'm happy with the GPU, SSD and current HDD so would carry it over to a new build if needed. Most components have not been upgraded since my original build around 6 years ago so generally just looking to update my build. Thanks for any help in advance, this is my first post so apologies if there are any errors. |

Great thank you for the help i'll have a look!
Also is there much of a difference between the ryzen 3600 and the 3600x, would it be worth spending a bit more ? Thanks again |
