How is Modern Warfare 3 currently?

Do modders still run wild deranking you? Thats the only thing keeping me from playing the game, afraid of losing my stats for the game as I have quite some time played with no modding.

I personally have not run into anyone doing this thankfully, I've been on for most the weekend and it's just been chilled.
