Would this be a build that could run a good amount of games with good settings? Had a buddy of mine put this together, was a 1500 build but I know zero about this kind of stuff.
Let me know!

Well are you buying it or is your buddy? What is your ultimate budget on what will be in the pc and are you comfortable spending that amount or would you rather keep it 100 or so under the budget if you could. Let me know and I'll try to help you.

Edit: but to answer your initial question yes this is a good pc. Would run basically all games at 1080p high settings at good fps. Some at 1440p manageable settings

I'm the one purchasing it, and my budget is capped at 1500 so I don't want to go over that.

If this is a good build then I'll just keep this and get the parts, I've been a console guy so discussing PC, the build, parts, settings, it's all just a mess for me haha.

You can get a much better build (and I mean much better) if you custom built it.

It's a decent build you could do better on a few things and keep price around 1500. I wouldn't rush it. You dont want to rush pc building. You can easily regret buying a certain part. If you want really good advice I'd hit up @21 on site and see if you can get a response from him as long as you wont argue with his response. Hes a pc geek

1500 what? What is your currency? USD, GBP, NZD, AUD, CAD, etc? If you're using CAD or AUD then that might be a half decent system. If you're using GBP or USD, then no, that's not worth anywhere near "1500". That's a sub £/$1000 system all day.

Requesting a list of parts

If you don't answer these questions, we will post them or refer you back to this post.

  • What is your budget and currency?
  • What will you use the PC for?
  • Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using?
  • Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals?
  • Do you need an operating system?
  • Will you overclock?
  • Anything else we should know?

@Original poster. If you are actually serious about wanting a good lasting pc FILL this out for @21, you wont regret it. Could even get you a Better pc than what you currently have on that list for lower than your budget. Trust me when I say this. You do not want to cheap out on a pc if you're wanting it for yearssss down the road

1. I'll be using this PC for gaming purposes.
2. Yes, I need a monitor as well.
3. I already bought a Keyboard and Mouse from Razer as well as a mouse pad from them.
3. Yes
4. No
5. Not really, I'm just looking to have a gaming pc that'll run games smooth at high quality settings. I'm new to the PC world so I don't have much else to desire with the build besides games. My cap is set at 1500 USD, I don't want to go any higher.
