I've had all of mine out, and it hurt like hell but I also got dry sockets. The biggest factor is if your wisdom teeth have pushed through already or if they are lodged beneath your gums. Usually they use local anesthesia so you won't feel them taking them out, but you will be unforgettable regardless for a few days to a week. Just remember to eat what you're supposed to and try not to smoke if you're a smoker. I had to go back two days later because I had four dry sockets, and that's the pain I'd never wish on my worst enemy lol.
