PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (12nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor ($104.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($83.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($62.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($59.99 @ B&H) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card ($229.99 @ Best Buy) Case: Cooler Master N200 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (Purchased For $0.00) Power Supply: EVGA BR 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Walmart) Total: $591.93 Re-use your HDD and case. You could maybe re-use your PSU, but I have no idea what PSU you have. PSU pricing and availability is awful right now, so the EVGA 450BR is all you're getting for anywhere near that price. It's not great, but it'll do. |

So, you might actually be able to re-use that PSU. As long as it has one 6+2-pin PCIe connector, it'll work with the GTX 1660 Super for sure.
However, since it's a low end PSU and is fairly old now, I'd definitely be aiming to replace it soon. If you want to re-use it, save the $50 and maybe wait for PSU pricing/availability to return to normal before upgrading, then it should do fine for now. |
