Really, though, I think it's the low crime rate and being so close to the ocean. An over all place I'd love to live. And, as an American, they have some allowances for guns(like shotguns) so I think it wouldn't be too bad on that front


Problem with Japan is I'm sure it would cost a bomb to live there too and that's without the language barrier

Probably Bali in Indonesia its a extremely beautiful and cultural location, the cost of living is extremely cheap and the weather is always mostly sunny, only issue would be the language barrier but I'm sure English is extremely common there.
