Just got done watching the Colby Covington vs Woodley fight.
The years of smack talk and pure hatred between these two guys really made this fight highly anticipated. Woodley #5 and Covington #2 on the rankings. Personally I thought Woodley was going to smash Colby for a few reasons: - much stronger and faster - previous undisputed champion -better professional resume But I was completely wrong! Colby came out and whooped him badly, Landing almost 76% of his strikes. Woodley got beat almost every round (depending how you scored it). Personally I love Colby as a fighter and a showman so I was always rooting for him, and we have the same views on other world topics. Woodley had to end the fight with an apparent rib injury which gave Colby the KO/TKO. What did you guys think about the fight? Did you expect this outcome? |
