I was thinking of buying the series 2 elite controller, was just wondering from people's experience 1) is it worth it? 2) would I be better getting a scuff/battle beaver and 3) I've heard the paddles aren't the best a break fairly easily? Is that the truth or is it just general wear and tear! |

Imo it's worth the price, iv had scuf controllers and both elites and I prefer the elite over the scuf. I have never had a paddle break on me ever and I play alot.. I have had only 2 problems with it, drift stick and after a while the internal battery won't last as long. |

I'm going to start playing a lot more as I've got a gap year |

I'll have to agree with this, I've had a scuf and it's literally the most cheaply made controller i ever used. My default controller lasted 4x longer than my Scuf. I got all the bells and whistles and it barely lasted 5 months. My LB/RB went out first then the Insane controller drift and one of the paddles were extremely hard to press even though i never used that paddle and when i used a astro a40 mixamp i couldn't use 2 of the 4 paddles. On top of all of that i got one of the "late gen" scufs so even when i was within my warrentary i couldn't send it back and get it fixed. While the Elite controller is a good choice, id look into the razer wolverine controller if your looking to go a little more expensive and get a really good controller out of it but getting a elite with a warranty is not a bad idea also. |
