Hey everybody. So I know we have all seen at least 10 times the argument not just over cod, but that is by far the biggest game cheated on, modded on or whaetever on this site by far, right?
And seriously, let the pride go. Dont think about how people will see your comment and be offended your not on one side or the other and all of that. I mean I think we are all old enough, right? What are your thoughts on MODDING. Specificly NEW Call Of Duty Games. Me - I think it is fine. UNTIL you go ahead and get auto aimbot double Y unlimited ammmo shotting ac130 bullet wallhack reload trickshot mode in public matches. Im so scared to get cold war. If i waste $60 for a game for PC im actually excited about and it turns out how warzone did.. Then im sure CoD will never heard the end of it. Single player stuff is fine. Dont even mod zombies. Some people have hobbies and jobs they want to compare to others with the same interest in how good their progressing. And your instant round 1000 round max stats across the board ect mods will make that hard for them when the first 50,000 people on the leaderboard at the TOP of that have a negative score which is literally impossible to get. Like it ruins the experience. Imagine someones first 10 games they get in a hacked lobby on their first year of call of duty. If that happened to me back in CoD 4 when that was the game. I would have never played again. Never met so many friends. Never had countless hours of videwo game experience and never would have gotten into a lot of what ive experienced in life as a lot of that stems from getting into the game and turned thaat into a huge part of my life TO THIS DAY. Go hack black ops 4 or advanced warfare or whatever the games that suck and nobody liked if your going to do it online (still kidding). But dont effect other peoples gaming experience with YOUR modding. Its not cool. Its NOT fun for ANYONE else. And honestly.. Its kind of sad seeing the community get destroyed by this. All for someone who sucks at the game to feel good for a couple minutes. Shots fired, Lets settle this once in for all. |

I had a jtag for around 3 years back in the prime days of modding and i never used it online i just played MW2 local and added bots in the game just used to love flying around the map looking at the menus
again modded WaW zombies was fu****ng AWSOME solo! Also people look at modding as some guy going online with unfair aimbot, deranking people But a normal 360 you need a disk can only play 360 games Jtags: dont need disks and can run emulators and play 100,000s of classic games + free DLC I miss the good old days but now you have new types of modding like BO3 PC why play 5-6 normal zombie maps when you can download modded maps and play 1000's of zombie maps Its the the mods thats bad its the way people use them |

Honestly, it's a highly subjective topic. Personally, I don't mind modders who mod free games/dlc and enjoy private modding. It's when people take the mods to a public game, now its not all public mods I hate. Its when they affect the most recent title that really **** me off. Once the games had its year, go to town on it. But spending money to shit on the experience of others is a real dick move. But hey, each to their own. I understand this was once a STRONG modding community, I've had a few accounts (forgotten passwords) even purchased a RGH console off her for myself years ago. Some dude also gave me lifetime XBL stealth for free which was pretty awesome of him but still - it's just toxic to ruin others experiences. Not to mention detrimental to developers, particularly in the first year. |

DHCP wrote I had a jtag for around 3 years back in the prime days of modding and i never used it online i just played MW2 local and added bots in the game just used to love flying around the map looking at the menus Those days were good. See in Mw2. Yes we had the modders. I said recently, i modded. I modded the heck out of my gamertag. Or my class colors. With my little USB stick running from my grandpas office room to my bedroom thinking I was so sweet. But i never was cheating. I didnt find that funy. Ive messed around with mod menus sure. In private matches. I would always be so irritated when id run into those lobbies in free for all or whatever. But you cant even play a normal pc online game without one modder in each lobby. I will give you thw waw zombie mods were fun sure. But, at least that was seperate. And it wasnt too out of control for years after release. And it wasnt EVERY lobby. I dont think the hackers get it. If it wasnt so many people doing it, running into it once in awhile would be so much more tolerable. But when its every game, it makes you wish you could just get your money back because you dont have fun or literally never actually play the game. that is ruining the experience. you make some good points and i do agree with msot of what you said. no problems with it. |

But can we at least have time so we feel like we can play what we paid for> Like if your going to hack then go plkay against other hackers. Go god mode against each other. How fun wouild that be for them? ABout as fun and money wasting as it is for us. The ACTUAL fans of the game! |

Well let's just start an say how I managed to come across this site
All began on cod waw an mw2 an cod4 10th lo bies super jump menus zombies all a time of the past But thats how I got on here was modding PlayStation but things have changed from then everything now a days isnt easy got or should we say expensive I loved modding mw2 with mod menu even online but it was all for fun everyone that had joined got a go with what I had as I always just like messing around not doing all the bad stuff However for like most will say esp an aimbot destroys modern warfsre this year an they still can't do what they done years ago to stop it all ill ways be against letting pc players play against console thats what ruins Cross play when pc have all sorts of advantages Mw2 will always be my favourite to mod for menus I'm also not against modding if its not giving you an advantage for like a win But like camos or something as we all know there a grind an some jusy don't have time for it RWD |

RWD wrote Well let's just start an say how I managed to come across this site How you approached this post was dope. I agree. You bring up some very fair points. The camos wont ruin any experience. And mod menu lobbies back then werent as toxic. So i get it. Like i said in a previous reply, those sometimes were FUN. Once people start the whole toxic stuff, thats when it becomes too much. Espescially when you cant get into a normal game and even have a chance. I watched a video win a team deathmatch game in 7 second getting all 75 kills a few days ago. Like that was insane! |

Well, when I joined here around 10 years ago it was for modded lobbies, so I can't say I absolutely hate modders and think it depends what they do & how they do it.
Positive Get all ranks, camos, achievements etc. Private custom game modes Negative Modding publicly taking away players abilities to earn their rank, camos etc. Infect other people with mods / menus that will go to ruin public games Personally, I think if someone wants to mod and get all their stuff instantly to play with the best guns and nicest camos, then go for it. If I am playing someone who has done that I won't even know it, so it's no harm really. But taking away the ability for a player who has paid for the game to have fun or so that they can no longer earn anything else, essentially completing their multiplayer experience, is pretty crap. When I was younger and immature, not really caring, I would mod public lobbies just to get people to be like "whoa" and think I am cool. Making my topics on here for open lobbies etc. Since then I know the majority of them in-game would've been like I am now with hacked lobbies, just wanting to play a damn match and wanting this prick to leave the game and quit flying about with god mode. If you are to go back to older CODs, I wouldn't say it's right for them to do it. But once the servers and security have been pretty much abandoned by whatever company made it, what do you expect you know? I think it's miles better with newer games now. |

Gonna just say this:
With power comes responsibility. You can't blame a modder for what others decide to do. Aimbot is dumb sure, but at the same time if you're getting mad at the game it's time to get off. We aren't kids (mostly) we are adults who can walk away and come back later. I do mod I cheat sure, but I also play on ps4. When I play on ps4, I think over the year I've ran into maybe 10 cheaters. You guys must play for 10hrs+ a day to find the games flooded with cheaters. Take a break if you're finding cheaters left and right center. I miss being able to achieve everything in one go. I have a life outside of games, a family and work full time. I don't have time to unlock all this stuff legit. So modding is a part of why I even play call of duty anymore. If it wasn't for modding I wouldn't have anything unlocked. I'm happy deranking isn't in the game though. Deranking was pitiful and just a dick move. |

I can understand and agree with all points except the last. The newest game of mw is one of the worst things ive ever seen thinking about modding. otherwise i would have installed it on my pc. only reason i didnt is because of the experiences ive seen and every single lobby being ruined and infiltraited with hackers. |
