PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor ($300.00) Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($179.99 @ B&H) Memory: Team T-FORCE DARK Za 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory ($109.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Sabrent Rocket 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($129.97 @ Amazon) Video Card: PNY GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB XLR8 Gaming REVEL EPIC-X RGB Video Card ($759.94 @ Office Depot) Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case ($94.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Amazon) Total: $1674.86 Grab a 5600X when you find one in stock for $300. I'd recommend probably getting an aftermarket cooler, but stock will do the job so you don't have to buy a cooler immediately. Up to you whether you buy a nice air cooler or an AIO liquid cooler. If you go for an AIO, don't bother with a 120/140mm, go for a 240mm+. If you've got the money, you might even want to go for a 2TB Sabrent Rocket instead of 1TB. You'll also probably want to add an HDD, just grab a 7200RPM HDD in whatever capacity you need/want. I wouldn't get this specific RTX 3080. Get whichever 3080 you like the look of best and can find in stock for $700-750. Alternatively, wait until Novermber 18th and consider a $650 RX 6800XT. If you want a cheaper GPU, then an RTX 3070 for $500-550 or an RX 6800 for $580 would also be perfectly good options. P400A is a solid case. Plenty of other good options at a similar price if you don't like the P400A though. If you want a better case, then I'd get a Lian-Li PC-O11, but you'll have to buy some case fans for that. |
