Honestly. Most people I see barely have any free time to really grind out camos. It's not little kids that come around to these lobbies. Most of the people I get are older people who usually don't have much time in the world to really go about grinding the game.
I also don't really see how it ruins the game for others compared to going in a public match with a bunch of randoms and a friend on the other team to boost with. The lobbies are completely filled and there are no random players getting any of their stats ruined by someone boosting for wins/streaks and then calling in chopper gunners and stuff on them. It's a full game of just booster/bots only.

From someone that works 10+ hours Monday-Friday, i just get the weekends to play for a few so these lobbies help with unlocks.

Some of us have only a proportion of playing time as we have life commitments, children, jobs whilst others can sit there and play all day or whenever. I don't see an issue with betting to get all the best guns and camos rather than waste your time on the game chasing them. You can enjoy the game for what it is rather than trying to get rid of the noob things.

Appreciate the replies and no flaming so far. Ngl I was a little surprised. Apart from certain cases almost everyone has said a major reason was because of not having enough time/other life priorities so I have another follow up question if anyone cares to answer.

Say you've finished boosting, you have everything you want unlocked or you're max level/max prestige/however it works on Cold War now. What's next?
Do you use your limited free time that was spent boosting/cheating and play the game for real now? Do you switch to something else? I know there's a lot more to do on CoD than just unlock stuff, you can have fun regardless of grinding for that stuff. Personally I don't care, I just run muliplayer, snipe, and whatever unlocks, unlocks.
Is it still entertaining to you? Do you think you would have more fun if the time was spent doing stuff legit?

When it's all said and done... it never is!

For me, I go back and see what I can do to improve the process. For instance, MW started with bot lobbies and while they're great for legit unlocks, as the game ages, the worth of those accounts diminishes. That's around the time we start looking into duping rather than unlocking. Once you get to that point, you sorta have a bit more freedom. You can stack duped accounts and sell them at a price that isn't the $350-800, you see for a fully unlocked account which is a lot more doable for this current global economic climate.

When it really all comes down to it, "what can I give people and still be okay financially?"

EDIT: POST 400! Actually really satisfied it was a post like this lol. Jeez, if only I didn't go inactive for so long lmfao.

Now I enjoy the full game and what it has to offer with the lads and not having to worry about completing a smelly challenge while getting fxcked by an MP5 bunny hopper.
