Didn't see this until now, Yeah I'm very late.

the benefit is well, You can't stream your Xbox Series X / S to the Companion App.

This app does not work for Xbox One/ Xbox One X

It's strictly for the Series X / S

so the benefit is, well you can actually stream your content


Ah, i thought it would be able to do other things (eg, use game chat) but yeah this is super helpful if someone didn't have an Elgato, pretty sure it catches voices in game chat too if it's anything like the companion app


I think it's possible to use your keyboard and stuff to send messages FYI, it has various other things it did have Cloud Gaming etc build in but that was removed due to it being moved to the xbox website.

also, Yes! It catches all Audio, including voice chats.

I mostly use this to use my microphone as I like to use my headset for PC.
