Hey All
So im thinking of getting a new monitor, My current setup is i7-9700k, 2080 TI. I currently have an old Acer monitor (which i will be replacing) and a Gigabyte F1D something. I have 2 monitors in mind 1. Samsung Odyssey G7 Link: amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Odyssey...ers&sr=1-1 2. Asus PG27QE Link: amazon.co.uk/ASUS-Swift-PG27...ers&sr=1-1 3. LG 27GL850-B Link: overclockers.co.uk/lg-27gl850-b-2...55-lg.html Both of my current monitors are IPS atm, i have heard a lot of good things about the samsung one though and even though its a VA panel im leaning towards it a little bit. Anyone here used IPS and VA panels? looking for some advice. |

They all look good tbh, the Samsung one looks amazing and im assuming its VA which isn't ideal but it looks a great monitor all round for casual and serious gaming. You'd probably get slightly better response time with the LG one as i hear Nano IPS is great for fps gaming etc but not it wont give you a signifigant advantage over the Samsung maybe just slightly better response time and less screen tearing.
But if you are a really serious gamer i would go for LG because of screen size , panel type etc and if your not really serious i'd go Samsung. |

have a friend who owns the Asus PG27QE
Should be great with the 165 refresh rate. Although ive seen some of LGs monitors and they are also pretty good Tough choice lol |

I wouldn't be getting the PG27QE. The Asus monitor is probably the worst of those 3 choices, not that it's necessarily bad though.
GL850-B would be what I'd get, but the Odyssey G7 would also be an incredible monitor. |
