I never thought I'd do it. That whole old dogs and new tricks thing I guess.
The system basics: AMD Ryzen 7 3800xt Gigabyte 2070 Super Windforce OC3 Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra 32 GB PNY 3200 RAM (216) Silent Base 801 case with (6) 140mm fans (4) Pure Wings 2 (f/r) -- (2) Silent wings 3 (top exhaust) I was running a Noctua NH-C14S with (2) 140mm fans, (only one pictured) which under most conditions would keep the CPU around 67-72*C under load. This setup was adequate, but that 3800 chip heated the interior of the case nicely. Reasonably priced and a descent performer, I went with the bequiet! Pure Loop 280... hey, it's a bequiet! case! The install was very easy, and the whole swap took about an hour. I mounted the radiator on top as an exhaust with the (2) Silent Wings 3 140mm fans attached. The Pure loop definitely cleans up the look quite a bit inside the case, and has reduced interior temps enough to lower the GPU temps about 3*C under load. I can reduce fan speeds when I'm not running the system hard, which does quiet things down a bit. Overall, I am quite impressed with the end result: CPU temps are about 4*C cooler under load GPU temps are about 4*C cooler under load Temp under desk cooler too... bonus. Cleaner look behind the glass. Better airflow without the big cooler blocking air flow. |

Solid. You should also get a anti-sag for GPU as it's bending a bit. It can cause a lot of defects in the future. Overall looks good
PS: Maybe get 8gb x 4 ram instead of 16x4.. I think the CL would be better and faster |

I ordered a gpu brace, and since the PSU is modular I'm going to go with sleeved cables. Pimp it up a bit. Maybe 4x16 on the ram down the road.... |
