So I went and bought a HP Pavilion Gaming R5 1650 Super, 8GB/256GB Gaming Desktop Tower after owning a 1TB PS4 for years, but the storage and RAM seem to not be enough for what I want out of a Gaming PC. What is preferred I replace them with and how do I know they're 100% compatible for this PC.
PC Link: [Minimum post requirement for links] Note: All I know is to stick with DDR4 RAM Thank you all in advance! |

RAM can be iffy when you mix and match, but if you're just wanting to add another 8GB, then this should be fine;
newegg.com/g-skill-8gb-288-pin-dd...7yTTUwG4wg or if you just want a new 16GB kit for any reason; newegg.com/team-16gb-288-pin-ddr4...8gt6ANS1Gw As for storage, depends on your budget really. If it were me, I'd add another SSD of larger capacity and probably an HDD alongside the 2 x SSD's. Either way though, it's most likely going to be worth grabbing an HDD. 2TB Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD is only like $10 less, so it really doesn't make sense to get less than a 2TB HDD IMO. |
