if i loaded/ran aurora or freestyle dash
it would of showed this i.imgur.com/gFpsUfB.png gyazo.com/c079c32a83ea53c6e2d1c8c9a157fe1e (gyazo is from a youtube vid not me)

it doesn't seem to be crashing when you load aurora/fsd anymore but if you try to scan a new path it will pop up saying f3 crashed or unhanded exception but if u use the plugin/solution it goes away

Hentch wrote I beg to differ. My systems are running Aurora & FSD just fine without this plugin, at this moment.

Download with caution.

Incorrect. It affects all users when refreshing title assets (artwork, background, banner, etc) or doing a full title scan for title assets, both on Aurora and FSD.

And while using caution is generally good advice when downloading things, the entire source code is in the repo at that link. So feel free to compile it yourself if you don't like the flavor of my provided xex build.

Let me rephrase,

Out of tens, if not hundreds of RGH-JTAG consoles built lately, none have had issues launching into aurora or FSD as stated in the OP. I know this because I use both apps to test and pre load files on nearly an everyday basis.

So what exactly about my post is incorrect? That last sentence just killed me btw.

Just going to drop this here for you. Having the last laugh is always fun.

(There's a minimum post requirement for posting links, apparently...)

For anyone using my patch, you can safely remove it after updating Aurora (details at the link above), as the hotfix addresses the issue my patch was written to mitigate.

Educate, not prove. And perfectly in order, given your illustrious attempts to discredit both my original patch, and the need for it all along.

Educate huh, well,

At the time your patch was released there was no reason for people to use it without caution. You're a member that hardly visits the forum, with little to no rep, and you're spreading a plugin promising that this will fix a problem in aurora (which wasn't made clear in the OP, or in our discussion).

Put yourself in other people's shoes and tell me that isn't sketchy in the slightest bit. That's why I was telling others to use caution. Cry about it if you feel some type of way.

It wasn't Stelio who did the original post.

I wasn't here at the time of the original going up but I do know of the crashing issue as I have encountered it many times.

In the original post it may have been explained incorrectly but it was probably a mistake, we all make mistakes.

I used his patch until the Devs dropped the hotfix a few days ago. Although it was missing a script file or something and didn't apply the patch properly so I used Octals version which was complete and the issue has now been resolved

Thank you Stelio for posting the u official fix until the Devs got around to implementing it officially as they did credit you in the update log
