The Division developers announce the franchise won't crop up during this week's Ubisoft Forward, confirming fans will see more later this year

In the hours following the announcement, another game has joined that list, with The Division's Twitter account confirming that the property won't take part in this year's Forward show. It's especially surprising considering the recent announcement of The Division: Heartland, a new, free-to-play take on the series by veteran Tom Clancy developer Red Storm Entertainment.


Interesting would of guessed they'd be there this year.

The publisher typically holds a press conference at E3 every year, so this isn't super surprising. Still, it's exciting for fans of Ubisoft's upcoming games. With controversial titles like Far Cry 6 on the horizon, this next Ubisoft Forward should be an interesting showcase even though some notable games are skipping it. It even has a pre-show and post-show!

As for the Ubisoft Forward event itself, Ubisoft has quite a bit to show as many of its games were delayed. Far Cry 6 and Riders Republic will both be prominently featured. Ubisoft will also show Rainbow Six Extraction, a game formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine that was delayed indefinitely around the time that the Covid-19 pandemic began

A couple of upcoming Ubisoft games are clearly missing from this lineup, and that's because their development teams have confirmed that they will be skipping the show. As such, don't expect to see the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, or Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland at the event. Still, there's a lot to look forward to.

I haven't got my eye on anything Ubisoft related but I will still watch and see if anything catches my eye because usually when given a visual on something is can change the perspective compared to just reading about something.

Yes sirrrrr, 3 hours away now. Glad this is on the weekend, so it will be easy for me to watch. Mainly Far Cry 6, as I'm sure most people are looking out for. I've played like 4 of the games in that series, with 3 being one of my favorites.

Also, there's been some talk of For Honor, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that. Additionally, will be eager for any surprises. Anything that you got your eye on???
