Wraith wrote I do agree that it sucks to not have the event in person which as a result causes delays etc. I do however also think it has positives such as people who can not make it to an event have the ability to participate without having to go to a physical place. I know the way things are with these type of events is temporary but it would be cool to see them keep the digital side alongside the in person show just to make it more accessible to others.

Yeah 100% there's some positive takeaways, and since gaming is already digital, this makes it relatively easy to have these kind of events I think they have done livestreams in the past, but it will be cool to see how they adapt the livestreams when in person events return. Like you said, I'm sure there's much they can learn from this remote/digital experience.

Anyways ready to see some games be recreated!

E3 2021 is an all-digital event

Kind of sucks the past 2 years now have been totally digital. I'm sure this has a pretty significant impact on those directly involved in these events. Also, obviously this digital atmosphere in general (pandemic) has been the cause of many delays.

Somewhat comforting is that in this day and age we have the capacities to make these digital events possible. Even 15 years ago, it would be much harder to coordinate some sort of event with these circumstances. And not to jump toooo far ahead, but would be cool if there is some sort of in person event next year. Anyways, I'll stop rambling, definitely excited to catch all the streams. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in on this thread lol.

I agree all digital E3 is lame and not as hype as it used to be

They probally learned some from last year to add more to this year's experience. But the more they can also do for this year for everyone to see from home.

According to techradar.com/news/xbox-at-e3-wha...ty-studios

We also haven't seen a return on Microsoft's multi-billion dollar spending spree, which has seen the company amass 23 first-party studios, including Bethesda Softworks. Fans will be expecting to see some new games sooner rather than later, then, and E3 could serve as a rousing wake up call.

We know that Microsoft's E3 2021 conference is set to last 90 minutes, and it's the perfect opportunity for Microsoft to set out a compelling roadmap of what's to come for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners.

Nothing catches my eye honestly. Halo is going to be a hit or miss in my opinion but I'm really hoping it's good. We shall see.

I agree. Nothing really pops out and slaps me in the face, besides Halo, like you were saying. I'm really hoping this Halo changes the way the last few have been. Give us a Bungie-esque halo that will go down in history. Maybe then QJM and I can bond in a way and further our relationship. I see more Halo game nights in the future as well.

The only title I recognise from that list is Halo Infinite which I will definitely be trying out however if any of the others are available on PC I will have a look at those too.
