GeneralCall of Duty 1 -- cannot see end video, audio only - any fix

Just re-playing this for the first time in years, and was a little bummed when I got to the end and the final video of the Russian soldier talking over historical scenes was just a black screen, though the audio worked fine. I know why this likely happened -- because I forced on the game an HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 to make the game more playable and nice-looking.
I know it's silly, but I was just wondering if there was a way to get the video to play in my current HD settings? I located the video in the game folder (in the 'localized_english_pak0.pk3' file) titled cod_end.roq. But I have no idea how to edit a roq file, or if that would even work. Was hoping someone out there has already figured this out...? Thanks in advance for any help! |
