Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition Jasper JTAG with 512mb nand

For sale is a RE5 Limited Edition Jasper JTAG big block, with 512MB nand, it is unlikely that you will ever find one of these for sale again, unfortunatly the board in this console is not the original, as original exploitable RE5 console's are virtually impossible to come by these days.

This has a genuine Jasper V1 Big Block board, with a 512mb nand

This console is in immaculate condition with virtually no scratches or marks.

Only basic utilities are pre-installed on the HDD, including Xexmenu, Dashlaunch & Aurora Dash

Please bare in mind that this is not an RGH, it is a JTAG

Console MFR date: 2009-01-12
Motherboard Rev: Jasper V1
Original Kernel: 2.0.7357.0
Current Kernel (Freeboot): 2.0.17559.0

What comes with the console?

- PSU
- Controller
- HDMI lead
- 120GB HDD

The original nand dumps, CPU key, DVD key & freeboot build will be sent digitally to the new owner

Price?

UK;
£450 including next day shipping

USA;
$610 including 2-3 day shipping

CANADA;
$760 including 2-3 day shipping

Any other areas of the world, contact me for price

If you are purchasing from anywhere outside of europe, then you will need a different PSU to power this console

Once my shop has been re-made, this console will be added

So you're not going to mention that this is a board swap?

The MFR Date is not 2009-01-12. All RE Jaspers have a 16MB NAND. You can tell by the Serial Number. The real SN is shown in DashLaunch, 404204791505, meaning this console was manufactured 2009, week 15, between April 6th and April 12th 2009.

I've never seen a real JTAG-Able RE Console. I've only heard stories of patched RE Consoles. The only thing I can say is that this ain't it and I've had cheaper JTAG-Able Jaspers that weren't board swapped.

Sorry, but board swapping bugs me.

Yes, I will admit that the board in this console is not the original board, however it is still a genuine Jasper V1 big block.
With regards to your persistence with all RE consoles having a 16mb nand & patched CB versions, I disagree as I most certainly had one many years ago which had a 256mb nand & was JTAG'd, can't remember who I sold it too, would love to try & find that to prove you wrong.

Honestly who cares if he swapped the board. So many other sellers do the same thing. And to be honest I think the console is way better off being jtagged or jtaggable in this case. These cases are very rare to find in good condition now days. Not like the consoles hold a valuable retail price. Like they did 10 yrs ago

Collectors care and it honestly would bug me looking at the back of a 360 and seeing the wrong serial number It would bug me having a console with a 256mb NAND when the case and drive bezel matches a 16MB NAND.

The only time I've seen a big block pro model with a chrome bezel was on Phil Spencer's Jasper Prototype, and I don't know why it was like that.

This is an original post from 2011, where I sold an RE5 JTAG with 256MB nand;

https://www.thetechgame.com/Archives/t=2005621/resident-evil-5-se-bb-jasper-jtag-for-sale.html

I can remember the console like it was yesterday, I bought it off ebay as a jtaggable, it wouldn't of had a swapped board back in those days, its a damn shame I can't track down whoever I sold this too, as I would actually buy it back off them again, it was definitely sold to somebody in the UK

I also have a feeling that the console mentioned above did not have a chrome bezel

And the links for the photo's are dead

What a shame
