I bought a PC and now have spare cash so want to have the best parts available (that make sense for the price etc...).

Below are my current specs so would appreciate it if people could tell me what I should upgrade. Willing to put another 2/3k GBP into it.

SPECS:

Case: CORSAIR iCUE 5000X RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE

Processor (CPU): Intel Core i9 Eight-Core Processor i9-11900 (2.5GHz) 16MB Cache

Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI (LGA1200, USB 3.2, PCIe 4.0) - ARGB Ready

Memory (RAM): 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz (2 x 16GB)

Graphics Card: 8GB ASUS ROG STRIX GEFORCE RTX 3070 Ti - HDMI, DP

1st Storage Drive: 4TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 5400RPM, 256MB CACHE

1st M.2 SSD Drive: 512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W)

Processor Cooling: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 (120mm) Fan CPU Cooler Black Edition

Thanks in advance

You have an 11900 non-K CPU? I'd say a bigger air cooler or AIO. Does your CPU hold boost clocks under load? I'd think the Hyper 212 would be at its limit even with a non-K i9.

I'd buy more solid state storage, whether it be sata or nvme, doesn't much matter for gaming.

Since you have 2-3k GBP just buy a 3080 Ti! But before you do... what spec is your power supply? I wouldn't upgrade your GPU unless you have an 800w or greater 80+Gold certified unit.

What monitor(s) are you using? Make and model, or at least tell us the resolution and refresh rate.
What PSU are you using? Make and model.

I'd get a nicer/quieter air cooler personally, but what you've got is definitely sufficient. Up to you whether you keep the Hyper 212 or upgrade, if you're just looking to spend money.

As above, I'd definitely add more SSD storage. With that budget, I'd likely just buy a couple of good 2TB NVMe SSD's.

I couldn't tell you whether or not I'd recommend a GPU upgrade since I don't know what monitor(s) you're using, those might be worth upgrading first. I definitely wouldn't be doing a GPU upgrade with the current market either way though, especially with RTX 4000 potentially coming end of this year.

Spending £300 on a board and not getting a K cpu?

You're literally getting a 3070ti, pay the extra and get the overclockable cpu :')

Amazon is doing the K version, slightly more expensive than the non K. I'd say it's worth the upgrade.

The 212 will probably not be sufficient for an i9, I'd highly recommend an AIO, 240/360mm.
