- Go in Settings > System and uncheck all boxes under "Automatic Downloads"
- Go in Settings > Network and uncheck the box next to "Connect to the Internet"

Skip This Section If You're Already On Firmware 9.00

- Download PS4 9.00 Firmware
- Format USB Flash Drive to exFat filesystem
- Create folder named PS4 then inside that create another folder named UPDATE
- Place PS4UPDATE.PUP into the UPDATE folder
- Eject drive and plug into your PS4
- Go to Settings > System Software Update
- Install Version 9.00 (If you get an error just retry)

- Go to Settings > Network and check the box next to "Connect to the Internet"
- Select "Set Up Internet Connection"
- Select "Use Wi-Fi" or "Use a LAN Cable" (whichever you use)
- Select "Custom"
- Select "Automatic" under IP Address Settings
- Select "Do Not Specify" under DHCP Host Name
- Select "Manual" under DNS Settings
- Set Primary DNS to 192.241.221.79
- Set Secondary DNS to 165.227.83.145
(DNS blocks your console from automatically downloading the latest firmware update)
- Select "Automatic" under MTU Settings
- Select "Do Not Use" under Proxy Server

- Download and Open Rufus
- Check the box next to "Use USB Hard Drives"
- Select your USB drive
- Download exFat Hax
- In Rufus press "Select" and then navigate to the "exfathax.img" file you just downloaded
- Click "Start" and then "Ok"

Your drive should no longer be viewable on your PC now. Eject the USB and head back to your PS4
(Don't plug the USB into the PS4 yet)

- Open Web Browser
- Press the Options button and clear your cookies and website data
- Navigate to http://karo218.ir/
- Select "9.00 Gold"
- Wait for 100% and then close and reopen the page
- Select "GoldHenV2b"
- Wait for a message to pop up telling to plug in USB drive (do not press anything)
- Plug in your USB and wait for a system pop up that says "This USB Storage device's file system is unsupported"
- Click "Ok"
- You may get another pop up, just wait
- You should see a notification saying that GoldHen was loaded
- Press "Ok"
- Your PS4 is now Jailbroken
- Remove your USB drive

This is a tethered jailbreak, meaning you will have to do the steps in this section every time you restart your PlayStation. This can all be done in about 30 seconds so it's not that big of a deal. See the "Rest Mode Setup" section for a workaround top avoid doing this.

- Go to Settings > GoldHen and check the box next to "Enable BinLoader Server"
- Go to http://karo218.ir/ and select 9.00 Gold
- Select "Disable Updates"
- Select "Ok"

This is an added security layer to keep you from accidentally updating your console and losing your jailbreak

- Go to Settings > Power Saving Settings
- Select "Set Features Available in Rest Mode"
- Make sure there's a check in the box next to "Keep Application Suspended"
- When done using your console you can select "Enter Rest Mode" instead of turning off your PS4
- When you start the PS4 everything should be as you left it

This section assumes you're able to locate Package Files for Games/DLC/Updates on your own.
It is against the rules (3.01) of TheTechGame for me to tell you how to locate such content.

There are two different package files "Retail" and "Fake"
Your jailbroken PS4 can not run Retail packages without the appropriate license associated to that file.
You can not mix and match Retail and Fake packages.
You will need Fake package files to successfully follow along with this guide.

- USB Drive
- Download PS4 Package Viewer
- Make sure that all package files related to your game are from the same region (NA, EU, etc.)
- Make sure that all package files related to your game are from the same Title ID

- Place package files on USB Drive and plug into PS4
- Go to Settings > Debug Settings > Game > Package Installer
- Install game first then any DLC/Updates
- Launch Game

Errors typically occur when you download your game and DLC/Updates from different sources

- Download Repackager Script
- Download Fake Package Tools
- Download GenGP4
- On your USB drive make a new folder and name it "Repackages"
- Move your game and DLC/Updates to the folder
- Copy the Repackager Script to the folder
- Double click the script to run it, it will fail but should create additional folders on your USB drive
- Copy the GenGP4 file into the "bin" folder
- In the Fake Package tools you downloaded, copy "orbis-pub-cmd.exe" and the "ext" folder into the "bin" folder on your USB drive
- Place your game package file in the "game" folder and the DLC/Updates package file in the "patch" folder
- Run the Repackager Script
- Wait for the script to complete the repackge for you (will take some time for larger files)
- Go into the "repack" folder and move the repackaged file to the root of your USB drive
- Go to Settings > Debug Settings > Game > Package Installer
- Install repacked file
- Launch Game

- Go to Settings > GoldHen and make sure the box next to "Enable BinLoader Server" is checked
- Go to Settings > System > System Information and write down your IP address
- Open your PS4 web browser and go to http://karo218.ir/
- Select "9.00 Gold"
- Select "WebRTE"
- Do NOT got back into the settings menu as it can cause the payload to stop functioning properly causing you to have to restart your console
- Hover over the game you want to cheat on and press the Options button
- Select "Information" and make note of your version as this is important
- Load up the game
- Go to your PS4 web browser and go to http://ps4trainer.com/
- Select "Trainer"
- Close the first page and go over to the new one that just opened
- In the "PS4 IP" box type your IP address
- In the search bar type in the name of your game
- Find the one that matches your game version, dont worry about the Title ID (In most cases the Title ID doesn't matter)
- Select the trainer and enable your desired cheat options
- Press the PS button and return to your game
- You should now have cheats

Since this is an online trainer you also have the option of using a computer/phone/tablet thats connected to the same network as your PlayStation 4 console instead of using the built-in browser to access http://ps4trainer.com/ and control your cheats

- Open your PS4 web browser and go to http://karo218.ir/
- Select "9.00 Gold"
- Wait for the page to cache
- Go back to http://karo218.ir/
- Select "PS4Trainer Offline"
- Wait for the page to cache
- You can now disconnect from the internet
- In your browser go back to the http://karo218.ir/ page, Select "9.00 Gold" select "WebRTE"
- Do NOT got back into the settings menu as it can cause the payload to stop functioning properly causing you to have to restart your console
- Hover over the game you want to cheat on and press the Options button
- Select "Information" and make note of your version as this is important
- Load up the game
- Go back to the http://karo218.ir/ page, and select "PS4Trainer Offline"
- In the "PS4 IP" box type "localhost"
- In the search bar type in the name of your game
- Find the one that matches your game version, dont worry about the Title ID (In most cases the Title ID doesn't matter)
- Select the trainer and enable your desired cheat options
- Press the PS button and return to your game
- You should now have cheats
