old school hip-hop is one genre that is quite hidden these days and wanted to see if there is any fellow old heads in here and would love to know whats some of your favourite rappers maybe even a new school with a old vibe.
This video is how every rapper was back in the day all hungry as shit and wanting to spit some bars, what do you guys think of this?? this is a gem I love both west/east coast rappers but i think the beats and bars of east coast tops it for me as a all time favourite. |

Problem Child 50 was insane, Get Rich or Die Tryin was my first cd. My favorite rappers right now are probably Method Man, Raekwon, Da$h, Babyface Ray, Maxo Kream, Easy E, The Game, Future. Random list and it changes all the time, used to be a super hip hop head until 2016. A rapper I think you should check out if you haven't already is definitely Da$h He's like a 90's punk rock mentality who happens to be gangster and a fiend. Haven't seen anyone like him, he doesn't glorify substance abuse rather illustrates how he can't shake it. Of course the new generation has copied this formula.
Listen to 17 More Minutes or Vices to get a feel for him, good New Jersey rapper along with Retch. Imo Michigan has the best rappers at the moment. Cali has a lot of rappers I think are good to but it's probably just cause I live here and the beats probably carry them ngl |
