If you own or have played the game, would you recommend buying or passing on it?

sorry, i havent bought dying light 2 yet either

to add on to OPs question though, for those who have-

can you include whether or not you bought DL1 and the comparisons between the two? where one is superior, etc..

DL1 was a weird masterpiece that I hold very fondly. DL2 improves on the game in some areas and falls short. The environment in my opinion isn't as fun as DL1's environment was. I'd say the combat is better but weapons aren't as fun or exciting.
Gameplay is pretty vastly improved but seems like it's missing something.

Still very worth it however I do believe the first one was slightly better.

I preordered it didn't regret it at all the gameplay is very fun just don't go in expecting it to be a masterpiece the story is very mediocre and forgettable like the first game. But I had a lot of fun playing it.
