So, i built this computer, and i did finally get it to display and boot to bios, but as soon as i plugged in my windows boot usb, it no longer displays, even if i unplug the usb. Im using a core I5 10400, an asus motherboard, 16 gigs of ram, a 500 gig Ssd, and integrated graphics (planning on upgrading to a 1660 super soon) i would appreciate any help i can get. Because im stupid ive turned it on and off a few times and rearranged the ram 1 by 1 and it didnt help. Can someone throw me a lifeline? |

As you can imagine, there are a myriad of reasons why you're not getting a boot image. Good news is you're seeing the POST screen. Here's where I'd start:
- Check if on board video disabled in the BIOS. See this Asus Faq Page about ensuring on-board video is enabled. This should apply to all Asus boards. - If your onboard video is enabled, have you successfully used your bootable Win10 usb in the past? If not, I'd reformat it and create a fresh one. - Will your computer show anything beyond the post screen without your bootable usb plugged in? |
