Being that your console is a retail (non rgh/jtag), you just have to try other solutions that have worked for people. One of the fixes for me some weeks ago was to adjust auto renewal on my account, clear cache on xbox, delete and redownload profile. Hope this helps.

Yesterday I tried so many times I chnaged my password 3 times I cleared cache I formatted I tried over 20 times to download profile just not working
