Im new to pc gaming, i just got a decent setup and I'm trying to find some good antivirus software and other software that I should put on a fresh pc. I am up to date on all updates and drivers, anything else I should add besides an antivirus program? |

Built-in Windows AV is fine, and Windows Update gets all the drivers you need. Don't install more junk. |

I used to use AVG but years ago when Windows 7 rolled in, I started using the built in AV and have never regretted it. Best part about is that it consumes very low memory. Still using Windows 7 and although updates for the OS have slowed down, Microsoft Security Essentials still get weekly updates. |
