Hey guys. Never been much of a runner before the academy. I ran pretty much 6 miles everyday for 6 months straight and it was complete hell, lol. I used brooks at the time.

I just recently put in for a transfer to another agency and they're requiring us to do a small training session that requires me to run again. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm a size 10.5.

I run a fair amount, and used to do cross country and track. In my experience it kind of depends on the way your foot is shaped and how you strike the ground. If you have a FleetFeet or some kind of specialized running store, they can fit you to the right kind of shoe for the shape of your foot.

I have enjoyed using Brooks, Mizuno, and Asics. I'm currently using Mizumo Wave Inspires, and I use an insert that supports my high arches. These don't look that cool imo, but they feel good on my feet

I think I saw you decided to go with the Adidas UB? You'll have to let me know how you like those after running in them for a few weeks. I'd be curious to try those out as well Plus those just look sick imo

Brother! I ended up going with the Asics because they had 40% off for law enforcement.
