Recently upgraded to a 3070 MSI Gaming Trio Z from a Radeon 5700.
PC was running completely fine until I downloaded the Geforce Experience drivers now when I try to stream in discord and on the odd occasion without streaming my Audio goes all robot/static-like and I have to unplug my mic and reconnect to regain normal sound and mic control

I have a Ryzen 5 5600X (OC to 4.0)
32GB Corsair Pro Vengance
MSI B550m
MSI Gaming Trio Z 3070

HyperX Quadcast S Mic
HyperX Cloud 2 Headset (Wired to mic)

EDIT: Happens when alt-tabbing games as well

FIXED: Turns out my PSU being 650w isn't strong enough to power all my USB ports

Most USB 3.0 ports can only output 4.5 W. Dedicated charging ports can do 7.5 W. USB-C and/or PD ports are needed for more power.

It's unlikely your board or PSU was the issue. If you have a USB mic, connect it directly to a port on the board.

It is connected to a port on the board, I don't have USB adapters or anything
