I was mostly a rhythm game player when i was younger but if i had to choose between the two i would say cod because i spent such an absurd amount of time playing it and even to this day i still talk to my friends i made on there nearly 13 years later. And i spent a ungodly amount of time on mw2 alone, I'm talking 5k+ hours, not to mention i probably spent double that on bo2 because of the zombies and diamond weapon grinds
Halo wasn't too bad but i felt like i started way too late, i hopped into halo during reach and i had a ton of fun in swat and always wanted that inheritor rank but i didn't have a big group of friends to play it with like i did with cod |

Halo 3 was a big part of my childhood, but for some reason everything after that left a sour taste in my mouth.
Ended up sticking with CoD ever since. So I have to toss my vote to CoD. |

Today I'd say the quality of both has dropped off a cliff, but I prefer contemporary Halo games.
However, I chose CoD overall because I find more replayability in the old CoD games than I do Halo (split screen and zombies). Fortunately I don't actually have to choose though. The best of both worlds sits at my fingertips |
