Spending more is pointless

Use a second machine for stream encoding on CPU

That AW3423 though
*chef's kiss*

Alienware

Dell uses the Alienware brand for their high-end gaming monitors. It's the best monitor available and it's a steal at $1200.

Most Alienware stuff is garbage. The monitors are not.

The new Samsung G8 makes me want to cream, I'd go for it personally. When a 27 inch verison comes out I'm gonna snag one

LTT Video on the monitor:

It's the same panel as the AW3423DW but with no G-Sync, bad I/O, ugly design, and a higher price. Samsung had a year to beat Dell and blew this product for no reason.

As far as design, IDK, I'd still go with Samsung. I would only use vasa mounts anyway, so I wouldn't see the actual stand. Keeping that in mind, the chin on the Samsung is a little smaller than the dell.

I will you that the I/O design is kinda bad. Pricing wise I think the Samsung will be able to drop pretty quickly as most monitors with G-sync are just going to be more expensive bc of the cost of putting that feature on there. - just realized there is a version you can buy without gsync lol

If you are looking at buying a monitor now, within the next few months then yeah I'd go with the dell
