I was wondering if snyone could help me get started in the streaming space through xbox.

I currently have a Xbox Series X/ Also PC Capable of streaming/recording.

I'm looking for abit of help with apps and tips etc..

If you want it to look a bit professional you would have to invest in a elgato And if you wanted to upload videos, i would recommend having an extra hard drive, That way you can stream and record at the same time and you won't have to rip the VOD's from your channel and it won't eat up all of your computer space

After you got the basic stuff, You'll most likely just use Streamlabs OBS, It'll have everything you need to set up your stream and it takes probably less than 10 minutes and a quick video tutorial to get all of your settings perfect.

Then you can look up some free use Overlays/Panels for the time being to make your stream look a bit more professional.

After that, its all up to you


If you wanted to get started and just stream, You can easily just open twitch on your xbox and stream from that. Make sure you go on your PC and enable vods then later you could easily just download them (might take a while depending on your speed and the quality you're downloading it from) Unfortunately you won't have things like notifications, sound alerts etc.
