Hello i am looking at purchasing a capture card and of course Elgato is supposed to be top of the line. But i was curious if anyone had any recommendations or video samples from any other companies.

I bought an Elgato HD60 S the other day to use with my RGH since it has very little delay and records in 1080p 60fps. You can pick a 2nd hand one up for about £50 on eBay which is around what I paid for mine.

just depends on what you will be using it for.

Do you really need one that can capture 4k when your output is only 1080P?

I have the Elgato HD60 Pro and i love it. I know the one that's USB is a little bit iffy cause there can be more of a delay versus the one that is in a PCIE slot. But I think Elgato is the way to go, if you dont.... make sure you research the pros and cons of it haha I know a lot of people who don't research before buying then they regret it haha
