I'm genuinely curious of what the best way to stream now, I've done it plenty of times in the past a long time ago but there are many ways to go about it. What programs do you use, what are you specifically streaming on & how do you bring it all together from multiple sources?

I use Streamlabs OBS, usually not the best program from some peoples perspective, but I've never had a problem with it.

I've only ever streamed to Twitch, and as I did it more consistently I would upload clips to Twitter whenever I went live and upload gameplays/highlights to YouTube.

Things I've done in the past that I should've kept doing are posting shorts/tiktoks, having a discord server that alerts people when I go live, and trying to clip every good moment (for shorts or highlights)

In my chat I have nightbot and every 30 mins it advertises my YouTube channel, and I put my Twitch link in every YouTube video.

I think there are things you should do when you know you really like streaming. You said you've done it before, but the key to streaming is having fun with what you're playing and being CONSISTENT while you do it. Try to get into a flow of streaming everyday or as much as you can, even if it's to zero people or just a few friends. When the pieces start falling together you will have some motivation to keep going!

Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions. I have been streaming for 3-4 years, albeit not very successfully, but I sure enjoy myself doing it.

I prefer using Streamlabs OBS, although some people may not consider it the best program. Personally, I have never encountered any issues with it.

My primary platform for streaming is Twitch. As I started streaming more regularly, I began uploading clips to Twitter whenever I went live and shared gameplays and highlights on YouTube.

Looking back, there are some things I should have continued doing. For instance, I regret not keeping up with posting shorts and TikToks. I also had a Discord server that alerted people when I went live, and I made an effort to clip every exciting moment for shorts or highlights.

To promote my content, I integrated Nightbot into my chat. Every 30 minutes, Nightbot advertises my YouTube channel. Additionally, I include my Twitch link in every YouTube video description.

In my experience, there are certain key factors when it comes to streaming. The most important thing is to enjoy what you're playing and maintain consistency. Try to establish a streaming schedule and stick to it, even if you initially have zero viewers or only a few friends watching. Over time, as things fall into place, you'll find motivation to keep going.

If you're considering getting into streaming, remember that having fun and being consistent are crucial. I've been streaming for 3-4 years, and while I haven't achieved significant success, I truly enjoy the process.

Streamlabs OBS is so bad in my opinion.. SE Live is much better resource wise.. also I believe you can do more through SE Live cause it uses the original OBS as for SLOBS uses their own version. I used SLOBS awhile back, but once I switched, I won't go back. But that's me haha

It takes a script though I will say. I focus more on YouTube and videos more than my streams. I usually just stream in Just Chatting cause I just hangout in my streams. But I am seeing growth and what not from the consistency and dedication I have been putting in. It's a true grind but it is very satisfying when things start catching some motion. There are a lot of other things but it's honestly mainly, make sure you are having fun and consistency.. those 2 things are the main things that help a lot.

I used to not do shorts but I recently started doing shorts and that has helped quite a bit in growth as well. Usually promoting yourself on other platforms trying to draw people to twitch is hard, but it can work out really well if you can manage to draw those people over. Twitch is honestly azz though for discovery and YouTube is really good for offline exposure cause your vods kind of serve as a video in a sense. Which can be noticed by the algorithm, unlike twitch that has no vod discovery system really at all lol.. but that's my quick little input on this lol.. feel free to talk to me if you have any questions or anything haha
