Anyone watch this film series yet?

Have been told to watch it by all of my friends but have not gotten around to watching it yet?

what is yalls opinion? is it worth?

The rings of power? Absolute horse shit compared to any of the film series including The Hobbit.

Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely watch it quite frequently.

Definitely the movies before I give the show a try. Going to give them a try this weekend on my only weekend off. It will be nice to sit back and relax while watching something I have never seen before

The movies are AMAZING ! Lotr is better than the hobbit imo, but both are good. The show is okay but lots of hate for it, just WATCH it and form your own opinion plz lol

OG trilogy - incredible (watch the extended cuts)
Hobbit - has its moments, barely tolerable (the book is fantastic)
Show - Terrible. Why must they butcher legacies?

I like the show but I also don't know the lore much. But I love Star Wars and I know the lore for that and Disney ruined it so I get it. But aside from whatever they messed up I actually enjoyed the LOTR series.

Going to watch the first one tomorrow and see how I like it.

Everything I have read about the show has killed it for me, I wont be giving that a try
