Approx ~$2,700 leaves a little bit spare for additional storage if desired or could spend the rest on some streaming gear.

You said yes to needing a monitor but by the rest of your post, I assume your friend already has the 3 monitors. Depending on what monitors they already have, it could be worth downgrading some of the parts and getting a better monitor.

$3000 pretty much on the dot with 3 monitors included.

Could always go AM5 if you wanted, grab an R9 7950X(3D) and an X670 motherboard but I'd probably be buying the 13900K.

Could save a little money on the motherboard if you don't want to pay Asus tax. Could also save a little on RAM if you don't care about RGB.

Plenty of other coolers and cases to choose from. Dark Rock Pro 4 and Pop XL Air are just kind of my go to's lol.

Decently fast 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. I'd probably add more storage but you can do that at any time, and 2TB is plenty to get you going. 1TB and even 2TB PCIe 3.0 SSD's are cheap as chips these days, so always easy to add one of those.

RX 7900XTX is the GPU to go with at this budget tbh. RTX 4080 is your best alternative if you need NVidia but it's over priced.

3 of the same monitor, 1440p high refresh rate. This is the best way to get 3 matching monitors. I'd probably do something janky personally though, like an ultra wide, 1440p high refresh rate and a 4k monitor lol
