Series S would be great for this situation. It will play most if not all Xbox One - X games, albeit maybe a bit slower frame rates (a 6 year old wouldn't notice lol)
And at this point in time it would save a couple hundred bucks or so. Pair that with game pass and he'll have plenty to do for a couple years at least! |

If it's for a kid I would say Series S but the 1tb so he can have decent space for games |

I've got a series X and my son had a series S. I only got the series X because I have bunch of disks, overall I'd say if you're like my go for the X but the S is a great console too |
