Warzone is big, cod itself is dead 100%. Without warzone cod is empty af. It definitely saved cod but to a lot of people it's just warzone. |

Every year that they do more dumb crap to the game it seems like it's dead if you watch content about it. But it still sells like crazy and doesn't have much issues at launch with being popular.
Although, I've noticed the more recent games don't maintain players after the main life cycle of the game as easily as the older ones used to. It'll take a while for it to get buried for good, but I will say it seems like they're trying to do exactly that. |

I let myself get convinced to get the game every year and every year, it ends up being another extreme disappointment. Apart from this year's game being a literal DLC for their previous disaster that was MW2, the gameplay is interesting for the first week and once you start to realize how bad it is, it gets even worse.
We've all got to accept that Call of Duty will NEVER be the same it was. Once the constant CoD buyers begin to actually STOP getting these games every year, maybe they'll try to actually make something enjoyable. But I highly doubt it. Now that my rant is done, to your question: I wouldn't particularly say it's dead since the multiplayer and WarZone get played quite a lot daily. But for the old players, I can't imagine these recent CoD games being fun for anyone. |

I buy them every year with the hopes I'll have fun like I did during the hay days but truthfully haven't played more than 5 hours on a cod in the last 4-5 years. |

I don't think it's dying nor growing.. for the people who no longer play, there are new people who do play it if that makes sense |
