I could not find a method that worked to fix this issue on YT or Reddit.
This post is for the steering wheel not working in Content Manager for Assetto Corsa.
It'd work for me via Steam to Assetto Corsa but once you try loading in via Content Manager it does not work. You can actually see on the controller tab that the game is recognizing it's paired and receiving signal the inputs are working.

For anyone having steering wheel issues ( I use a G29 Steering Wheel) for the wheel not working in assetto corsa. And it works in any other game, like forza for example.

What I found out what worked for me is the bottom left (Circled in Red . You're going to check that box, after you load in via content manager. In that loading screen, you're going to just Alt + Tab . Right after you do that you'll notice your steering wheel actually has tension when you turn it.
