Hey, I dont know much about PC hardware and was wondering if someone would build me a list of parts that would meet my criteria. I want it to be cheap as possible, preferably under 1k or around 1k CAD, but I have a max budget of like 1500-1800 if absolutely needed. I dont know sh** about pc hardware parts n stuff so I appreciate the help
I need the pc to do the following -run cs2 at 300fps or more (1080p 240hz, will be upgrading to 1440p sometime down the road, I am open to having a 1080p gpu for the job and buying another for when i get the monitor if needed) -run other comp games at over 150 atleast, the more the better but I dont really care as long as its over 60 but 150+ would be ideal, no interest in single player games. -can handle lots of background processes, mine cant but would love the ability. -stream / record in hq, mine can only record in the lowest quality known to man and obs crashes my pc. -preferably microatx or smaller than a regular mid tower pc or whatever, I want it on my desk and smaller, if not its cool idrc. all i can think of i am tired but thanks to who ever helps, my closing note is i am trashing everything in my pc (giving it away) and only keeping the ssd, so imma need it all except that. A case like the pop air mini would be cool too but idrc what it looks like, thanks. |

If you've already got storage, then I suppose this is all you really need;

I'd probably just grab something like this; ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/chzhP...000p3pssd8 Or if you just want mass storage, grab the cheapest 7200RPM HDD in whatever capacity you want(I'd start at 2TB minimum tbh, maybe aim for a 3TB or 4TB depending on price). RX 7600 is pretty much all the GPU you can afford with a $1k CAD budget. If you can spend any extra, GPU is definitely the place I'd be putting the extra cash. NVidia alternative's are poorer value/performance than their AMD equivalent, but have better RT performance. So, basically I'd just have a look at 7600, 7600XT, 7700XT, and 7800XT GPU's and just buy the highest end card you can afford. Or if you really want NVidia, then start with an 8GB RTX 4060 and work your way up the product stack until you can't afford any more. RX 7600 is pretty much on par with an RX 6650XT, so a 6700XT would perform better for sure. 6700XT should be 15-20% faster on average than the RX 7600, and has more than 8GB VRAM, which would be nice to have. If you're still able to find a 6700XT in stock anywhere, and you're only paying $450CAD, then I'd say that's a decent purchase.
