so i've had a bike nicked and i've been sent a video of my bike potentially being rode around i just can't see clearly if it's the same model of bike
the stickers could've been ripped off and the seat easily changed and that's the obvious thing to change when a bike has been nicked bike that got taken bike that got took bike in question i have the cctv video too i'm just not too sure how to upload it |

I'm not an expert either, but these don't seem to be the same bike. While the frames look quite similar, the "seat stays" and "chain stays" on the bike in the security camera image appear much thicker than those on your bike. I also noticed what seems to be some sort of a black frame protector on the right "chain stay" of your bike that's missing in the camera image, though it's possible the thief could have removed it.
I know it's not much, but these are a few differences I spotted. I wish you the best of luck finding your bike, brother. Thieves are the worst kind of people out there and deserve their hand cut off for what they do. |

Hard to say. Looks like a lot of things have been changed. Bikes do have serial numbers and are able to be uploaded into NCIC for theft recovery. If you have the serial number from an old receipt or something of that nature you could call local PD and have then upload the information.
*This is from what I know working in law enforcement in the United States. Outside the United States it could be very different. |

Hey dude I work for Specialized and from the look of it the frames look different. The decals on the frame are not stickers they are under the clear coat so they would have had to paint the full bike a crappy paint job is noticeable from far away. One way we tell when bikes are stolen are the serial numbers under the frame by the pedals there's a serial number that starts with WSBC-(random numbers.)
I would need to see a little better picture to really tell but overall seems like a different bike from what is provided. Sadly it seems that you are not in the U.S otherwise I'd be able to help you get a discount on a new bike lol. |

well i will say that the down tube looks pretty much the same. it is possible the stickers etc have been removed to try to change the appearance of the bike if it was stolen. serial number should be on the bottom of the crank. if you have that written down somewhere and you can track the guy down check it and file a police report. |
