Microsoft Denies Possibility of Xbox One Scorpio-Exclusive Games

Yesterday Microsoft Head of First Party Studios Publishing Shannon Loftis mentioned that whether there would be exclusive games for the newly announced Xbox One Scorpio or not was “up to the game development community.”

Apparently, that was not correct, as explained by Games Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg on Twitter.

Loftis herself followed up, explaining that she “Botched” the question, and apologizing for the confusion.
So there you have it, straight from the lion’s mouth: there won’t be any Scorpio-exclusive games, so if you plan to stick with your original Xbox One, you’ll still be able to play everything.

That'd be one kick in the face to people if they created exclusive games just for the new console, hopefully they stick with their word.

'This Xbox, which is 40% as small and plenty more powerful is exactly the same. You shouldn't buy it' > Lol? Really, though. I kind of see your point. This seems to be the Xbox to buy if you want to spend money. It plays at 4K, but not everyone has a 4K TV because those alone cost a decent amount of money. Because I myself do not have an Xbone and have been wanting one, I will most likely invest into this one.
